Kunst op de Koffie (Carien Poissonnier and Anook Cléonne) is an exhibition concept in which residents of the Spijkerkwartier open their homes to artists and visitors. The Wijkgedicht is a lasting reminder of the impressions the exhibitions have left on the residents.
The residents were asked to summarize these impressions in 5 words and send them handwritten. The Wijkgedicht team (Carien Poissonier en Anne ten Ham) had a selection of these applied to enamel signs, and neighborhood handyman company Spijkerkwartier mounted the signs on the facade of 30 participating homes.
The work gives a personal streetscape to the Spijkerkwartier Arnhem.
