Eight human figures add an extra dimension to this whole, standing silently in the water, causing subtle ripples with incidental small movements.

Water, its reflection, wooden bars, black foil

A stage is set for the light to do magic to the water in such a way that the water seems as deep as the chapel is high. 

The work combines modesty and grandeur in such a way that chapel’s significance and architecture are magnified. Its stillness and its location in the hospital chapel invite to reflect on life, on illness, on death, on beauty and on faith.
